Brain Hemorrhage
Brain Hemorrhage - Causes, symptoms, and treatment

Know the causes, symptoms and prevention of brain hemorrhage

What is Brain Hemorrhage?

Brain hemorrhage is a mental attack. It is caused by an artery in the brain. Due to which the bleeding starts in the surrounding tissues. Which destroys the cells of the mind.

The continuous supply of oxygen and nutrients to the brain and nerves in our body is done by blood from the blood vessels. Just as there is no supply of blood to the heart, a heart attack occurs, similarly some parts of the brain do not get more than 3 to 4 minutes of blood, due to oxygen and nutrient deprivation, This is also called brain stroke / brain hemorrhage.

Causes of Brain Hemorrhage

These occur for different reasons. The highest risk of stroke is when:

  • A person's body weight increases enormously.
  • When the person is 55 years or older.
  • If someone in the family has a stroke problem.
  • On adopting a bad lifestyle.
  • Excessive smoking, alcohol and drug abuse.

Types of brain hemorrhage

Ischemia stroke

This type of stroke occurs when the arteries (blood vessels) reaching the brain become blocked or narrowed. When ischemia, blood flow is reduced due to which brain cells are damaged. The main reason for the blockage of the arteries is the formation of a blood clot in the arteries of the brain. Plaque accumulates in the walls of the arteries, causing a person at risk of ischemia stroke.

Hemorrhagic stroke

This stroke occurs when blood starts to leak from the arteries of the brain or it bursts. Due to blood leakage, there is pressure on the brain cells due to which these cells get damaged. After hemorrhage there is no supply of blood in the brain tissue. Intracerebral hemorrhage is a common type of hemorrhagic stroke. In this stroke, after the rupture of the arteries of the brain, the brain tissue is filled with blood. Subarachnoid hemorrhage is another type of hemorrhagic stroke and is usually less frequent. In this type of stroke, the area between the brain and its thin tissues starts bleeding and engulfs the entire area.

Transient Ischemic Attack

TIA stroke is different from both types of strokes mentioned above because in this type of stroke the flow of blood in the brain is a bit messy. Transient ischemic attack is similar to ischemic stroke because it is usually due to a blood clot.

Symptoms of brain hemorrhage

  • Confusion arises and difficulty in speaking and understanding.
  • Headache and vomiting experience.
  • Feel numbness in face, legs and one part of body.
  • Do not appear correctly and clearly with one or both eyes.
  • Trouble walking and losing body balance and dizziness.
  • Bladder control
  • Pain in movement of hands and feet and change in body temperature.
  • Depression and voice faltering.
  • Body weakening and paralysis.
  • Loss of emotions.

A person may have prolonged health problems due to stroke. Due to timely diagnosis of this disease, if not treated, a person can suffer from this problem throughout his life.

Avoidance of brain hemorrhage

The easiest way to avoid brain hemorrhage is to not let the causes of stroke arise. Strokes can be avoided by taking other precautions, including changes in lifestyle. Let us know what to do to avoid stroke.
  • Eat a balanced and healthy diet.
  • Control your body weight.
  • Exercise daily.
  • Do not smoke and consume tobacco.
  • Drink alcohol in moderation.
  • Do not let cholesterol rise.
  • Keep blood pressure under control.
  • Do not let diabetes happen.
  • Get treatment if you have insomnia.

The meaning of a balanced and healthy diet is to include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, almonds, grains, seeds in the diet. Do not eat red meat and take small amounts of food containing cholesterol and saturated fat. To control blood pressure, use small amounts of salt in food.
